So because of how labor was,  breast feeding is really,  really hard for me since I have horrible back pain.  I decided to pump for the first time today and combined only collected 1oz. Does anyone have tips for how to produce more???

It cannot be stressed enough that the amount of milk you able to pump is NOT ever a reliable indicator of how much milk you are producing, nor how much milk baby is taking in. The healthy breastfed baby is usually much more efficient at getting milk from the breast than a pump is.
I find I get way more milk with a manual pump than an electric one. Also massage your breast when pumping can help a lot. And be sure the funnels are the correct size.

The amount you pump isn’t what your baby can get. Try hand expressing. I don’t know how far postpartum you are but it takes about a week before your milk comes in and then it can take months to build your supply. I’m 9 months postpartum and I don’t pump more than 3oz at a time, but my son definitely drinks more than 3oz.

Keep pumping often. Try every 2 hours, 3 max to get your supply up. Also try to breastfeed once in a while if you can manage, they can suck more efficiently and pull more milk, that will help increase it also

Mother milk tea, lactation cookies, upspring milkflow chocolate drink and berry water powder mix, oatmeal. Drinks tht are warm/hot. Pumping on a strict schedule like every 3 hrs. DRINK LOTS N LOTS OF WATER!!!  And the biggest of all.... DONT STRESS!!!! (I know, easier said than done)
My son is a month old now. He was 5wks early and stayed in nicu for 2 wks so i know all about the stress. I had energency c-secrion and hospital was 45 mins away from my house. After being discharged, i drive every day n stayed at hospital nicu with him all day n came home late evening. The tiredness n stress didnt help at all. Being home, i did all of the above n now im pumping 2oz-3oz every 3 hrs! 
Dont give up! I know its hard, frustrating. Keep at it! When u feel like giving up, take a breath and think about the benefits of breastfeeding. Good luck!!!
