What is this?

Question

I discovered this under my baby’s armpit yesterday, and have a doctor’s appointment to have it checked out tomorrow. 
However I’m wanting to see if anyone here has seen this...
UPDATE 11/16/18 - Anaiya went to see the doctor today, and this turns out to be a sore spot where moisture was allowed to remain too long. We will now towel off better after baths, wear cotton onesies underneath our fleece pj’s, and are putting diaper cream on this spot until it goes away.

Looks like a yeast infection. My lil chub got them all the time from her rolls being moist (underarms and neck are the worst!) . Pat it dry and try to raise her arms to allow some air flow. After baths be sure to dry those areas completely. Your pediatrician will probably give you a RX antifungal or May just tell you to use OTC versions.

It's yeast , put monistat on it several time a day. Keep it dry after baths, sweating, swimming ect. Yeast like warm moist places.

Looks like what babies get in their neck creases. Clean it and put some A&D on it

Yep it’s yeast. Try to stay away from fleece as much as possible. Air it out. You could put Monistat 7 on it but it irritated my LO skin. You can clean it with diluted vinegar. The doctor will probably give you Nystatin to put on it.
