Clomid day 1

So as expected I started my first round of clomid today. I was honestly alittle taken aback by the appointment though. A resident came in started my baseline ultrasound didn’t really tell me anything about it and then the RE came in and said looks good. See you the Sunday after thanksgiving.....go see my nurse for your scripts. I felt kind of dumbfounded. What the heck was the baseline ultrasound for if they tell you nothing? Ended up with 150mg per day of clomid and dexamethasone. I am not sure if I feel good that she put me on such a high dose of clomid round 1 or if that should be concerning. I also have no clue if I keep taking the dexamethasone once I am done with the 5 days of clomid or keep going until the next ultrasound. Fingers crossed my body reacts well to it though.
