Laid off?!

A couple weeks ago my boss told me that things were just not working out and that she felt she was going to have to let me go unless I got my act together and then kept switching it up on me telling me she was letting me go because she is over staffed I spent a lot of time upstairs filing and doing paperwork. So she is letting me go but would still like me to come in once or twice a week to file all the paperwork and be available to cover in case one of my coworkers is unable to show up. What do you guys think.

Don’t let her use you to fill the void of her poor management skills, go file for the unemployment you’re probably entitled to and move on

Yeah today actually happens to be my last day and I’m actually finishing up the paperwork that has to be filed away and your right. I’m better off just opening unemployment my husband told me the same thing I mean he was like “Nah fuck that she’s letting you go but still wants you going and filing away the paperwork. Why cuz no one else wants to do that!” and it’s true cuz at the end of the day my back is killing me from being bent over filing and having to be crouched down and then get up.
