Spacing out vaccines?

I’m getting my Tdap in about 2 weeks and want to get my flu shot ASAP. Does anyone have input on how much I should space them out? I’ll be 29 weeks this weekend and I don’t want to bombard my baby’s system, but also nervous to wait to long to get the flu shot. TIA!

You don’t need to space them out unless you’re worried about too much soreness in your arm. Apparently it’s the antibodies your body develops that are passed onto your baby, not the actual vaccine

If your keen on getting both I would space them out. Give your body a break to build antibodies. I’d recommend flu first then tdap.

My doc urged me to get both and gave me info from American Medical Association and American college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Sadly I did my own research and neither vaccine has been tested on pregnant women (FDA won’t allow it) so I am really confused how it’s endorsed during pregnancy without that information. I am more into researching and not assuming my doctor knows best. I will hold both until after delivery. Just makes me feel better. There’s no negative or positives published either way so hard to make a determination.

I got mine about 3-4 weeks apart - only thing to watch out for is the shoulder soreness 🤕

Get the flu shot first, because flu season is already here and it can take two weeks or so to take effect! Hubby got the flu this past week, but I'd gotten the shot mid-October and didn't catch so much as a sniffle from him! And I ALWAYS catch whatever he brings home :P
The TDap I'm pretty sure you can take any time before 34ish weeks, so you've got some time there.

I would get flu shot ASAP. It’s already flu season and you don’t want to get the flu on top of being pregnant.

I got mine done same day. I had pain on the arm where Tdap was applied for a few days but then went away on it’s own.

I did the flu shot October 26th and the Tdap today I wasn’t far enough alone when I got the flu shot to get the tdap so my doctor made me wait
