Pre seed

My clear blue opk is telling me I’m at high peak so I Used pre seed 3 times already but every time my husband pulls out it seems like the sperm is sticking to him instead of going in me. What should I do?? Is this normal? I use 1.5g and i feel like half of it stays in the syringe because that thing is junky. I really want it to happen this cycle and I’m scared we messed up our chances. Please help.
