Is anyone thinking about birth control yet?

Personally, I’m not down for trusting breastfeeding, and I was on the pill before. Does anyone have experience with IUDs or other forms of contraception?

My doctor told me the only form of birth control that will FOR SURE not mess with my supply is condoms. 😩😩 I also have a terrible reaction to birth control pills.  We used the pull out method successfully for 7 years and conceived our first cycle of not pulling out. I obviously do not feel safe doing that so close to having a baby. So right now we are talking about combining the pullout method with condoms like we are in high school again. 😂

I used mirena and absolutely loved it. No periods, no pms, and no babies!

Girl! I LOVED my Skyla IUD! It was so easy, but devices do come with risks like migration and perforation so make sure you fully understand and accept all the risks. I had no side effects and no periods either time. I need to get a job selling the things cause I truly love them that much.

I did the IUD (skyla) after my last baby and I will not recommend it or do it ever again. I kept bleeding for over 4 months out of nowhere. My sex drive was completely gone almost instantly after IUD was put in me. No thanks.

My husband and I 100 % agree that I am getting the implant in my arm as soon as I can. This was an unplanned (but not unwanted) pregnancy and its twins. First pregnancy, might be the last 😅

I only used breastfeeding as bc last time. I trusted it till about 10 months when we sleep trained and my period returned. This time I’m thinking the mini pill after 6-9 months as long as I can breastfeed again. If not just back to ortho tri cyclen which I was on for years before kiddos.
