My amazing 4 month old
So my hometown just burnt to the ground. My home for the last 30 years is destroyed and I have been displaced for about a week. In this mix is my amazing 4 month old daughter. She has been evacuated and so strong. We have spent most nights in our car due to a nasty virus tearing through the shelters and there being a lack of cots. We spent 2 nights in a shelter to be kicked out cause baby girl coughed and they thought we were sick.
She shared my cot and was so brave.
4 months old and uncertain when we would get to go home or if we had to sleep in the car. Hiding in it almost constant to avoid the smoke on her tiny lungs.
She just found that she loves to sleep next to mom. I couldnt sleep her apart due to limited space and the illness. Not only that but because they had some really badly behaved children that tried to gag her with their fingers on day one.
She hasn't been fussy she has smiled and been as good as she would be at home even though it has to be hard for her to not know whats going on and be inside the car 24/7 for the most part unless we go into a store ect. My beautiful girl deserves the world and I feel sometimes I fail her but seeing these photos I know she has gotten the best I can give. She is kept safe, warm and fed as well as showered in love. It amazes me everyday to see her grow so much. #ripParadise #530strong #Buttecountyforever #mylittlewarriorprincess
