Trigger warning/advice or hope needed

I am 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant, on Friday evening I bled and it was like a period, stained my pj bottoms for the whole area of the crutch and slightly onto thighs. Literally like a period. Went to hospitals and none of our questions were answered, we were told to go home and relax over the weekend and see if nature takes its cause.. So we’re expected to have an emergency scan on Monday. Saturday evening I had spotting of blood on a pad and when I wiped it was bright red blood and two very small blood clots. Does anyone have experience for 9 weeks? What to expect? Is this a miscarriage or is there still hope? Just need something to compare to or anything to help us with the wait 😭😭 I am feeling so lost and crushed right now.
