I signed a SAP (satisfactory academic progress) appeal. Stating that in order to continue to receive financial aid for university I have to pass every class with a C or better and I think I’m going to fail my biology class. Idk if they immediately cut your financial aid but I’m very scared I need to pass and I could study for the finals but idk if it’ll help. If I get 100% on my lab final I’ll get 60% overall grade for labs. Right now for the main class I have 85%. The reason is bc I wasn’t able to go to my laboratory for 4 weeks out of 10 and that has my lab grade at .40% for the last of the labs. But I know my material very well. I just wasn’t able to get to school those days because I never have gas towards the end of my check, especially when my husband hurt himself and was out of work for an entire month. I’m so stressed. Should I email the professor? Talk to her personally? Finals week is two weeks away. Her policy states that if we don’t pass the laboratory class we can’t pass the overall grade. I’m scared I’ll have to drop out again. This is my second attempt at school 😞
