Okay so I’ve been dating my boyfriend now for 2 years. We have known each other for about 6 years now, too. My boyfriend is 24 and I’m 20. Well he still lives with his mom and dad. His mom does everything for him; washes clothes, makes his dinner, packs his clothes when they are going on a trip, cleans his room, makes his bed, cleans his truck, and anything else you can think of. But in my opinion some of that is a little over bearing.

So the thing that drives me crazy is the longer we are together and the more serious we get. It seems like his mom babies him more and more. She will say “my baby boy” (don’t forget he’s 24).

I understand that there’s a love between a mom and a son and I will never come in between that. But this is starting to ruin our relationship because of how she acts around me. It’s starting to seem like she thinks there’s a competition when there isn’t. Like she wants him all to herself.

By her babying him it’s making him immature in some ways. He doesn’t seem to even want to move out anytime soon. I would like to have some opinions on this topic???
