Advice Needed: Those Who Experienced Implantation
Hello all! My husband and I are in our 5th month of TTC. I am currently 8dpo and yesterday, I began experiencing cramping in my lower abdomen. It was mild but definitely there from the late afternoon onward.
Today, I have felt mild cramping throughout the day but in the last hour it seems to have subsided.
I still have 6 days until AF is due which is why I find this so unusual. Normally my AF cramps kick in a day or less before my period starts and they go from mild to ‘gimme the ibuprofen’ within an hour.
In addition to being way too early to signal the beginning of AF (my cycle is very regular - I am never more than a day early or late) these are also very mild - I’ve needed no medication to subdue them.
So to those who experienced implantation cramps: Could this be it? I honestly don’t know because what I’ve seen online doesn’t fit: I’ve experienced no spotting or bleeding along with the cramps.
I’m also breaking out pretty bad - acne all over my chin (I typically break out before my period begins - usually not quite this bad...) and I know that is a sign of impending period - not sure if it could be a sign of early pregnancy too.
So part of me says period while part of me says implantation! It’s still too early to test so I wanted some advice...
What are your experiences? Does this sound familiar? I’ve done the whole ‘EVERYTHING IS A SIGN I AM PREGNANT’ thing before and am eager to be more level-headed with what I’m experiencing now! I don’t want to jump to conclusions!
Thank you in advance for your advice!
