Your Husbands Sperm Count

Hey ladies, I was wondering something...often times when we can't concieve we think it is something with us. But how many if any of you have found out that your husband/significant other's sperm count is low? I have a good friend who told me that might be an issue for my husband. He has one child by another woman (this was before we met obviously) he is 44 years old and my friend told me that sometimes when a man is over 40 that his count can get off with just any circumstances. Have any of you discovered that this is the problem with you and your husband/significant other when TTC? I go to my doctor every year and get checked to make sure everything is normal for me to conceive. But he doesn't go like he should, as I'm also told most men don't. 😊 Has anyone had any experience with this?
