1st scan at 8w, baby measures 6w1d 😯

Hi ladies!

I was so looking forward to my first scan today, as I thought hearing a heartbeat and seeing our little miracle would ease my mind a little and allow me to relax and start to enjoy this special time.

However, to my surprise baby measures 6w1d instead of 8w1d! I have tracked my cycles meticulously the last few years so I thought that if anything that wouldn’t be a surprise!

The midwife says everything is perfectly in line for the 6w1d, including a good strong heartbeat so she says not to worry and come back in 3 wks.

It does worry me a little as I feel I am back at the ‘high risk’ weeks that I thought were now behind me.

Does anyone else here have a similar experience? Would love to hear your stories ❤️!
