How big were your follicles on day 12?

I have been on Femara and Gonal F for my first IUI cycle. I had my follicle scan today, day 12, and only had a 12, a 15 and a bunch of small ones. 
I was instructed to take another shot of Gonal F and then give the follicles a few more days to grow before the IUI in the hopes that at least the 15 would be mature enough. I’m really disappointed that they weren’t more mature already given that I’ve been taking meds and normally ovulate in my own. 😕

CD 12 one dominant follicle at 21, insemination today. Lots of smaller follicles around 10

I had a similar result on our first cycle, lots of smaller follicles. I normally ovulate well on my own too.
This cycle we tried Clomid and it actually bumped me up a few days in my cycle. I had one 19mm follicle at day 10 and triggered 2 days later.

Do you get another follicle scan before the IUI to see if they progressed?

Actualy i am at the doc office to check follicles CD 12 today,also my first IUI. At CD 10 i haf 4 follicles . 3 of them dominant size 16,5 and one 12,5. Checking again today. Finger crossed
