Exclusively pumping nighttime schedule
I’m exclusively pumping for my almost 1 month old daughter. She’s consistently been waking up one time during the night around 3-3:30 am. Since I’m EP, I’ve been setting alarms during the night to stay on my every 3 hour schedule. My husband and I alternate night duty.
Should I:
•Stick to my every 3 hour schedule for both “on” and “off” nights?
•On my “on” nights pump after I feed her and every 3 hours for my “off” nights?
•Switch to every 4 hours for both “on” and “off” nights?
I don’t want my supply to dwindle in case she reverts back to every 3 hours and I also want to build up my freezer stash for when I return back to work at 12 weeks (currently have 80 oz frozen) - but momma needs her sleep.
I appreciate your thoughts!
