Any advice?

Hey ladies how do I increase the supply in my right breast my left is doing very well. Nikolai is only a couple days old and we are still in the hospital he was born at 34 weeks and 3 days on 11-17. He is just now latching but it's only for 3mins on each side then I pump. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them and if you have ever had a preemie and could offer tips on how to help him latch and eat better on breast would be great as well!

Doesn’t look too bad! But yes I’d pump the lazy boob a little longer to stimulate more production. I’m doing this now because my right boob is massive compared to my left and I’m trying to regulate it 😤

Your boob production are actually way closer than mine lol. I had 34 wk twins. They couldn’t latch so if he is even a little that’s awesome. I would just try latching a couple times each each day and then pump and bottle feed. By 6 wks their due date they both got it like magic by 8 wks I was tandem nursing like a pro so just stick with it he will get better as he gets closer to his due date just keep at it

Seems like there’s always a slacker boob! My right always pumps more than my left and my baby is 3 months old

Try to pump an extra 5min after each pumping session on the weaker side. Other than that, you might just have different supply on each side. I was like that with my second & it bothered me for a while until I found out it's pretty common & totally normal.

It’s really normal to have a ‘lazy boob’ lol 😂 You fan pump a little extra in the other side, but my right one always produced way less.
