Hi all, I have switched from exclusively pumping milk to now breastfeeding in the last few days and I have 2 questions if that’s ok?

1. I used to always express more milk from my right breast (almost double), so should I feed more from this breast? I haven’t done so yet, and have been alternating feeding from each breast. I thought I should feed more from the one with more milk but worried I would over stimulate it and thus produce even more milk.

2. Is it ok for me to feed only from one breast at each feed? I have been feeding from the left for one feed and then the right at the next feed. So far baby seems content with this but I’m concerned each breast is missing out a feed and may not keep making enough milk. E.g each breast is now only being emptied every 6-8 hrs but when I expressed I was emptying them together around every 4 hours.

Hope I have made sense and hope you don’t mind my questions.

Thanks. Xx
