Probably an unpopular opinion but...

Long story short, I’m a ftm and my baby is breech at 38 weeks and I’m scheduled for a c-section on December 4th. I was reading up online about c-sections in general, chances of him turning, what to expect, etc. (no one I know has had a c-section or a breech baby this late in the game. I’m scrolling along and reading the pure panic coming from some of these women that they can no longer have a vaginal birth and need a c-section and are desperate for advice to try to keep their OB from pushing the c-section. These posts included changing OB’s, refusing the c-section and potentially risking their baby’s life!! And I’m sitting here like...

I understand the sadness and confusion especially when your original birth plan isn’t going to happen, but potentially hurting your baby and risking your own life to have your all natural, home, vegan, water birth just doesn’t click with me 🤷🏻‍♀️ I myself am devastated that I will probably never have a vaginal birth, but the health and safety of my son comes first before my WANTS and my “plan.” This may be an unpopular opinion... but reading some of these posts is downright concerning.
