Will they do pp exam if I’m bleeding

So I am 8.5 weeks postpartum and my exam is on Thursday. My doctor told me that I can have sex anytime after 6 weeks. So we tried at 6 weeks and it didn’t hurt but it was a hair uncomfortable. I started bleeding decent amount for 5 days after. Then we tried again 3 days ago and I’m bleeding again now not as heavy tho. Will they do my pap if I’m still bleeding?

When I had my pp checkup the nurse asked if I still had any bleeding and I said some it comes and goes and they just put something down for me to sit on and it was fine

Sex probably agitated your cervix, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. It does sound like a real possibility you had a period. Doctor may not to an exam, with my first baby I had bleeding for over 2 months and at my 6 week checkup he didn’t do my Pap test because he said you can’t be bleeding for accuracy. He did schedule me an ultrasound to make sure I didn’t have any retained placenta or clots. There wasn’t anything like that I was just taking longer to recover. This time around I’m 5 weeks postpartum and still bleeding. I also still have stitches that haven’t dissolved so I’m really hoping they’re gone before my doctor uses a speculum on me.

Yes theyll still fo an exam. 
But they didnt examine you before giving you the go ahead for sex? You're suppose to be checked to make sure you're healed before the go ahead for sex.
