Advice on losing virginity

I've been with my boyfriend awhile, and both of us are virgins. We are both completely comfortable with talking about it, and joking about sex. He really wants to have sex soon (and he's not pressuring me at all) but I don't know if being comfortable talking about it will translate. I would love any advice about what to expect and what to do to help make it more pleasurable for the both of us.
