How much would you charge as a babysitter!?

Hi ladies!! Help me out. I've been asked to babysit this Sunday from 7pm-12am...the thing is I haven't babysat in so long and I was asked what I would charge. I will also be babysitting two kids, 2 yr old and a 5 yr old. What would you charge for something like this? Or what have you been charged before. thanks so much!!

For 5 hours I would probably just say $20 for each kid. If they are bringing them at 7pm then that's means they already ate (usually) and I would tell them to bring a snack for the kids. Also I would assume the kids will sleep most of the time.

Man you guys are expensive baby sitters I either do ten dollars an hour or five dollars a kid an hour. If I love them its free

I charge $15-25 an hour depending on how many kids, how long and if there's extra things they'd like me to do. One family had me do their laundry and dishes, another family had me cook meals. Check the average in your area.

I charge $10 an hour unless it’s more than 2 kids then I charge more.

The going rate is anywhere from $15-20 depending on how many kids and where you live. I used to get $15/hour for watching two kids, but i was with them all day as their nanny, I fed them, did laundry, and drove them to and from school. The mom was extremely generous with what she paid me and she even gave me extra cash for food and gas and didn’t expect me to give the change back to get. 
Personally though, I think it’s outrageous to ask for that amount unless it’s offered or suggested to you. Especially if you’re new to babysitting for this particular family, id aim low at first and feel it out. Or you can leave it up to them to decide. If you choose to tell them a rate, I’d say $10-12. Think of it this way, you’re there for five hours, most of that time the kids should be asleep. So you’ll basically just be hanging out. $50-60 seems like more than enough.

I watch 5/6 kids for 10 an hour. Don’t be like mine😂 I think 15 an hour is good
