Continuous bleeding after Mirena insertion

I got my Mirena IUD almost a month ago and have had no problems at all besides a little plain and cramping the day of and the day after insertion. I was on my period when it was inserted, then my period ended and I had a normal two weeks. At this time, new spotting has been going on continuously for about a week. I know my body will need 3-6 months to adjust and create a new flow schedule, but has anyone else had a light, non-problematic, continuous flow at an uncharacteristic time after an IUD insertion? I guess I just need to know if this prolonged spotting is normal after an IUD insertion or if I should call my doc. I haven’t had any pelvic pain or cramps, so I’m not very alarmed, but I wanna know if that’s normal after an insertion. Thanks!
