Not Sure if my Water Broke???

im 39 +2 weeks been having faint contractions . everytime i go to the bathroom i feel kinda wet down there on my underwear . can it be my water???

If you lay on your side for half an hour it will pool in your vagina and when you stand up it’ll treacle out that’s how you’ll tell. 
Also, I used to pee myself all day and it was such a strong smell. My waters looked like when I peed my underwear but it smelt like nothing, maybe a bit sweet.

Just go to L&d and get tested. I had a leak vs my water breaking and I got swabbed and admitted because the test came out positive. I was 36&6 and had my baby at 37 weeks.

Typically in the week or two leading up to labor u have an increase in discharge... when my water broke it just kept flowing out , it wasn’t a rush but just constant.... if it’s just wet when u use the bathroom chances are it’s normal discharge for this point

Amniotic fluid smells very different from normal discharge. It’s sweet and almost fruity
