How do you guys WANT to get pregnant again?

This is a genuine question. Is there a certain time frame you noticed you wanted another? I feel like it’s a stupid question. My pregnancy an birth experience were so awful. I had horrible morning sickness, I couldn’t keep anything down, 2 kidney stones IN ONE MONTH, and preeclampsia.. I gave birth to my twins 8 weeks early and it was terrifying thinking I was going to lose them. They spent a month in the NICU. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy. I also had postpartum really bad that I was suicidal, the only thing that kept me going was them. So I’m genuinely wondering how you guys want to get pregnant again after having a baby. I’m looking at them now and see how blessed I am and I also can’t imagine “starting over” with another newborn, or even twins again!! I want a girl so bad (both the twins are boys) but I don’t want to go through all that again. Adoption and surrogacy is way expensive.. but an adoption guarantees me ONE girl.

Seems like you might have experienced some ‘trauma’ in your pregnancy..by that I just mean you had a bad experience with a lot of complications. If you’re really set on a girl and think one more girl would really complete your family, maybe do some research on adoption to see what it’s really like! If not, I’m sure if you got pregnant again and it were girl or boy, you’d feel blessed like you do now!❤️

Some of us didn’t have a similar experience. My kids will all be pretty close in age, the only thing I had during pregnancy was bad morning sickness but got it under control around the second trimester. This is my last baby and first girl.

I only had one at a time and it took a while to be ready again.
I never understood the people we would visit at the hospital (to see the new baby) and they were already talking about their next baby.  Then I was one of those people when my third (and presumably final) was born.  
Everybody is different, but I would say, getting two for the price of one and having a tough pregnancy would make me feel the way you are for sure.

My 2 girls will be 9 yrs apart.. after having my first girl I didn't think I was going to have any more, then we decided we wanted and was ready for another,  was hoping for a boy but will be having another girl.. we are totally excited about our girls but we already know we will be trying 1 more time sometime down the road and hopefully we'll get our boy..but if we don't get our boy we will be happy with our girls... I always kind of wanted 3 kids anyway, lol..

My pregnancies were not fun by any means.... sick for 9 months, bedrest for 3 months, passing out and hospitalizations constantly.... Hemorrhageing during the births, and yes Awful PPD. As a matter of fact, after I had my first, I swore I’d NEVER have another LOL my doctor also advised against it and I was told not to have anymore kids. It could kill me.  I know have 4 given birth to 4 beautiful children and had over 10 mc. And we are trying for the last now. Sometimes you just change your mind 🤷🏻‍♀️🙃

My daughter will be 19 months on Monday & I’m ready for another one. I had a great pregnancy & uneventful delivery (long but uncomplicated) so I’m ready

Thank you ladies. I only asked cause since they turned 1 EVERYONE and I mean everyone keeps asking me when I’m going to have more and my immediate reaction is never. It makes me feel like I’m weird. I know I’m not but it’s hard to shake the feeling that everyone else thinks down of me. Everyone in my finances family has 3 or more kids and some are still even getting pregnant.
