Dilation check?

I know some ladies opt out of this because it’s not necessary. But if you are getting it done, when is your doc starting to check you? I’ll be 36 weeks on Dec. 12 and that will be my first check and then my appointments will start coming weekly. Curious to know when yalls doctors start?

36 weeks is when I'll first be checked since they have to do an exam and cultures. But then it's up to me if I want to be checked or not until 39 weeks.

36 weeks so my next apt on the 10th and that’s when she’ll do the GBS swab as well. I’m hoping all these cramps and Braxton Hicks are actually doing something for my cervix. 🤞🏽

My doctor said he'll start checking at my next appt on Dec 10. I'll be 35 weeks.

I had one at 32 weeks because I had to go to L&D for constant Braxton Hicks. No dilation or open cervix 🤞🏻 My OB starts checks and weekly appts at 37wks. They also may do an additional ultrasound if they think baby isn’t in heads down position. Our girl has been heads down since 29wks

I believe my doctor starts at 36 weeks, but I've yet to carry past 38 weeks, so I might be slightly off.

My doctor won’t check until 40 weeks unless you’re showing signs of labor.

Im 34weeks i just got checked Thursday due to contractions still having contractions and back at work will probably be checked again on monday at my appointment

My dr started this week (35 weeks) because I said I was feeling cramping and pressure. Good thing she did because I’m already 2cm and 50% effaced. But usually she starts at 37 weeks

Doctor said he would start after 36 weeks!
