So Embarrassed 😣

I just came home from grocery shopping and I’m so embarrassed bc I went over $40 while in check out. I only had $140 to spend and the total came to $180. So, I was asking the very kind and understanding cashier to remove items, but everything I had was things I NEEDED.

The two women behind me was kind enough to buy the rest of my groceries for me, even the things I already had the cashier take off.

I really, truly appreciate that they did that for me, but I was super embarrassed. Maybe bc I had a mom who did it all for herself, or my own sense of need of complete independence, but I’m mortified.

I don’t usually go over. I don’t usually spend $140 on groceries (I spend about $100)!
