What to do with first while having second?

Has anyone else gone through the struggle of what to do with your first child when you go into labor with your second? I am honestly hoping for a planned induction so that I can leave my first at daycare (our daycare is in home and she said she would keep him overnight if she can). If I go into labor at 3 AM I honestly don’t know who will watch my first (he’s almost 2.5). I’m stressing more about him being taken care of than I am about labor! Ugh!
My water broke at 38 weeks with my first and I’m already HUGE and feeling like there is no way I’ll make it long enough to be induced.

My mom is going to take him. I might ask a neighbour until my mom could get here or bring him with me if it was going fast. I mean, if I was you i would just bring him to the hospital and put your foot down that is your only option. 😉

My mom is coming to stay with us and if I go into labor before then a local friend said she would be happy to watch my daughter if I go into labor. Start talking to friends you trust about having someone on standby.

Why not talk to your daycare mom? I had a similar situation, my daycare mom waited for the call. We dropped her off in the way to the hospital. She was 2.5 as well.

My in-laws are coming for the holidays and taking our 2 year old home with them for a couple of weeks, we are due Jan 2nd.

My 2 year old is going to a friends house down the road and my 12 year old will either be chilling in the waiting room, with the 2 year old, Home alone or on his way to his dads house with his uncle. Depends on how long my induction lasts and what time they start things. My husband has to come home to feed the farm animals and milk the goat each evening anyway so it will be a toss up.

My kids are 16 & 14 they can be home alone while I labor

My moms taking her..... if for any reason I go into labour before my planned c section we will take my daughter to the hospital with us and have mom pick her up and take her home

My MIL lives next door and is retired. Our plan is that she will be keeping our son while I’m in labor and once Emma arrives she will bring him to the hospital to see her.

My mom will watch my daughter & take her to school & when I’m discharged his mom will stay with us for a few days to help out so he doesn’t have to miss to much of work .
