Early Xmas Present For My Husband

I found out last Thursday I was expecting out second baby. When I got pregnant the first time I was loosing my mind and hastily put something together. Even though I didn’t make anything elaborate, I took couple days to take more tests and think how I wanted to tell him. I bought a ‘B’ for baby stocking with a short poem inside.

I gave it to my daughter, who is turning three in January, and said ‘tell daddy you have a present for him.’ She does and then he precedes to say, ‘no honey, we have plenty of time for presents.’ So of course I had to say, just look at it. The jig was up, his look at me was knowing, but yet not. It was a total surprise. He had no idea! I swore he saw something on my phone or that I was acting strange, but as it’s my second, it was easier to stay calm.

After I told him I say look at this and showed him all the tests I took. He was getting teary eyed.

I’m only 4w3d, so I’m still worried about a chemical pregnancy, even though I never knew it was a thing until this week. Fingers crossed. I hope you all have a great story and are looking forward to August.
