Which is more important to you - your pet(s) or your SO?

Cause I have a friend who says their dog was more important than their SO because they had the dog longer and I’m just wondering who all thinks this way

I think the wording of the question is tricky.... neither are more important to me because I don‘t choose to rank my loved ones by what they can do for me.... 
My pet(s) depends on me in a way that a SO never will, and loves unconditionally. Unconditionally. People have conditions, always, as much as we’d like to think we don’t. 
My SO holds the deep, mutual love of supplementing each other, versus completing each other.... we aren’t co-dependent. 
It’s just different.

I look at a pet like my child in most cases but if you have a really good SO I wouldn’t risk losing them over a pet. It’s a tricky situation because pets are just as much family as your SO. 
But in my case I got my pet with my SO. We picked her out together. Now if I had my dog that I let my mom keep, I wouldn’t give her up for the world. That’s truly my baby.

Oooo id say they’re pretty close love wise. However my husband brings in money, helps around the house and gives me attention physically. My pets are there with unconditional love and messes. Haha.

My dog all the way, had her since she was a pup and shes been thru everything I’ve had to deal with, i swear when i was lonely and depressed in 2011 I could’ve easily done something stupid and I wouldn’t be here if my dog hadn’t have been around to comfort me.

Honestly, if my SO didn't like my pet I wouldn't have married him. But now that we're married... It's too hard to answer. I've had my dog 11 years, and only known my husband 3 years. Butttttt... I really love them both. I don't know. I couldn't imagine my life without either of them

I could never pick. One of my cats is the clingiest little guy ever and he cuddles me day and night. He’ll cuddle me in bed and he’ll always need to be with me. I love him unconditionally all the time. I love my husband just as much but obviously he isn’t as clingy and we’ll have ups and downs like anyone. 
I could never rank my love. I love my pets, my husband and my son all just as much as the other but in different ways. I couldn’t be without any of them and therefore could never pick.

My bird means just as much to me as my SO. She’s our daughter? Her life matters just as much as mine. Like yeah I love my wife and I love my bird just as much if not more than her😂 and she knows that.

My pets were part of my life before my partner. They aren’t going anywhere. He knows that, and feels the same way about his pets.
