Finally here! 38 + 6

This is going to be a short and sweet story.

About a week ago I had been having a bloody show. I was like I’m ready. And one day passed then the next and still no baby. I got so disappointed and especially when people kept asking me everyday if baby was here yet.

My parents passed away and I’ve been doing everything on my own. So I have to act strong for my older son and my husband. And I really thought I had the connection that baby would be here but he still wasn’t.

Then last night, I’ve been picking up some irregular contractions for first 9 hours. I eventually made to the hospital by 1am. Only 3cm dilated. And I asked for epidural but they didn’t give to me saying it’s too early.

Another hour gone by I was 4cm. And the pain started to get unbearable. They managed to put epidural in but by then I’m already ready to push!

Gosh! From 4cm to 10cm in like 15 min!!!! Words can not explain the pain. There was probably a lot of swear words and glass breaking screaming in the mean time. I grabbed my husband’s hand so hard his skin peeled off! And I’m just 20 min of pushing the baby was here!

So for those of you who are waiting, the end is near and it could be so fast!

I’m so in love. Little Isaac is the best Christmas present came early!
