Last week at my 39 week appointment my OB checked my cervix and I was not dilated at all. So I went in for my 40 week appointment today expecting to get my membranes swept but she decided she wasn't going to check my cervix because I'm not having any contractions and baby is not dropping at all. I was supposed to be attempting a VBAC but for some reason my hospital doesn't do inductions for VBAC because it increases the chance of uterine rupture so my c section is scheduled for 40+6 which is Tuesday. My OB scheduled a NST and a growth scan for Monday but she's leaning towards it ending in a cesarean. Has anyone gone into labor on their own and not had to have a repeat cesarean? I feel like it's never going to happen.
