so before I was pregnant I was mainly on a pescatarian diet because red meat and chicken make my skin break out like crazy. fish is the only meat i can eat and maintaining clear skin. obviously i can’t eat much fish now that i’m pregnant, so i’ve been eating chicken and other meat and luckily for me my pregnancy hormones have been keeping my skin clear. but i know that unfortunately it won’t last forever and once baby comes i’ll have to stop eating meat again if i want clear skin. but does anyone know how eating fish affects breastfeeding and the baby? i do want to plan to go back to my previous diet but i’m not sure if i still have to watch my mercury intake while breastfeeding. will it harm baby?
