Blood transfusions.

So, I know this may not be entirely controversial but I’ve always been curious. I know that some cultures or religions do not participate in blood transfusions but I don’t know anyone personally to ask why.

I’d like to add that I am in NO way asking to judge anyone’s belief system. I am simply just curious and want to learn.

So the question is, would you get a blood transfusion if necessary? And why or why not?
