Getting pregnant before first cycle?

Question

Hey what's the reason that the doctors recommend waiting at least one cycle before trying to conceive? I want to start trying right after we hit 2 weeks from my D&C! Any advice anything?

Had a D&C July 24. Two weeks later was in pain and waited it out over a week then saw my OB to rule out uterine infection. I found out it was all from a cyst on the left ovary where the pain was coming from. I had ovulated and didn't know it.  My OB said everything looks good and healed. 
We did the BD two days prior not knowing I was so close to ovulation. It's been a week so I have another week to see if AF comes or if we get a BFP. Nervous and hopeful.

I haven't had AF yet and took this this morning.  super excited but worried as well.  I do feel alot better about this pregnancy than the last

I agree with the previous doc. As long as you're okay physically and feeling good emotionally, there's not a great reason to wait. We are TTC ASAP

My OBGYN said to wait because you've scraped the lining of the uterus down, and want the tissue to be full and plentiful again to sustain a healthy pregnancy.

Did it hurt when u had ya d&c?? Because I am scheduled to get one problem next week. And how did u get over ya miscarriage? I just found out today I miscarried. Baby stop growing after 6w. And I turned 10 weeks yesterday

I'm 5dpo and I haven't had a period since my natural miscarriage 8/2
Hopefully I'll go in Monday for my blood work and it won't be down to zero!

I haven't tested yet but getting the same symptoms as last time.  I haven't had AF yet.

They recommend waiting at least one cycle so that you can date the pregnancy. Because if you get pregnant without having to. How will you know when you're due date is. Then you may go for ultrasound too early in the doctors can't see anything and then you're left wondering whether you're pregnant or not. So a lot of times is more for peace of mind
