Day 11 with our firstborn son, Hudgins

Day 11 with our firstborn son, Hudgins! We had him (with a great care team) at home with a 24 hour labor and without complications. Praise God!

Afterwards, or course, was a flurry of trying to get me to stop bleeding and stitched up a bit. And now we've been through the ringer with his lip and tongue tie and trying to get my milk up. But today he slept for the first time since day 2 without being skin to skin or bounced continuously. And, he sure is persistent, patient guy with appointments and exercises and latching correction. Our little old man gnome baby. ❤

We feel so blessed. ❤❤ And so tired. 😂
