Breastfeeding/ nipple issues
My baby girl is now 11 days old and she has finally latched on well with breastfeeding, but my nipples are paying the price. They aren’t cracked, but they are very bruised. Like when you bust a blood vessel under the skin kind of bruising. It looks and feels tender, but it isn’t bleeding. I have tried the cream and coconut oil, even letting them air dry with milk on them... when is it that they should “toughen up?”
