Pregnancy envy?

I don't know if I am a nut bar or if anyone else feels the same way....

​We have been TTC for baby #1 since June 2013 (9months). This week I was diagnosed with endometriosis and at this point we are unsure what stage it is. This may add some significant time to our journey to concieve.

​I find when I am walking in the mall, the grocery store, down the street... Or browsing Facebook... I get insanely jealous when I see pregnant women. It is completely ridiculous and I always feel like such a fool. I can't control it.

Its natural. I wasn't like this at first but now that we have been ttc for 19 months and I'm on my second round of clomid, I get jealous whenever I see pregnant bellies. I have two at work who.just announced and I find myself creepily staring at their bumps. Ugh. Why not meeee? haha

Ever since my endo diagnosis I have gotten a bit jealous whenever people have become pregnant, even though I wasn't actively trying myself until this month.  I'm glad to read I'm not alone; I've always felt so guilty about it!  What makes me the most angry is people who can't afford to raise a baby, who aren't trying, and who I believe don't deserve children (aka skids) become pregnant.  I realize it's not my business, but also working in the child care field I see so many unfortunate children and I think, how is it fair that there are people who have been longing for a child can't seem to get pregnant yet this innocent child was given to someone who can't adequately raise them?!  Life isn't fair.  And it's normal to feel these feelings :)

I was talking to my love about this. My jealousy issues. One of my coworkers is pregnant and everyone is so happy for her including me but I always feel that tug of "why isn't that me?". Also I have another coworker is is pregnant and is getting an abortion. I sat and cried to my love asking why would god give a baby to someone who doesn't want it. Idk I guess our bundle of joy who'll come when it wants to. *baby dust* to all

You are not alone, nor crazy! It seems pregnant women just surround mr lately. I'm happy for then just sad for me. I just tell myself, my time will come. That doesn't help, but I still tell myself that.

I am absolutely in the same boat.  Actively TTC since oct 2013 which doesn't seem like that long but hubby and I had to wait until I was off my anti depressants before trying (no small task btw took over a year).  In the past year between my hubby and I, in our friends and fam there were 17 pregnancies.  I would get so upset on Facebook with the pics and post I had to swear off fb for a while.

I forgot to end my comment from Friday with...yes, I'm having awful pregnancy envy. I have a coworker who is 7 months along, my sister in law just had a baby, and there just seem to be pregnant women everywhere!! And it seems like so many that 'weren't even trying'. That's worse!

Ugh this is me since April 2013. I cant help it. Being addicted to reading all the threads in the success stories section doesnt help my cause.

Hi Brittany. I was also diagnosed with endometriosis stage 3 about 13 years ago. Had a second surgery 2 and a half years ago at age 29 to check again and they barely found anything. Not all is lost. My husband and I are TTC and my doc said I shouldn't have any problem, and I should be pregnant in 3 months or I should see a ferility specialist. Our fingers are crossed but I'm not very worried, even though I'm now 32. Hope to have a positive test in a couple weeks!!!

Hey ladies, I've just had a laparoscopy last Monday for them to look for endometriosis! They didn't find anything which is great. But I've never fell pregnant and now not usingb anything I can't get pregnant! I'm sooo jelous about people having baby's my sister in law is my age and 5 months pregnant I litcherally don't want to look at her I think there's somthing wrong with me! I've convinced myself I don't even want kids anymore because of the jealousy and me thinking I can't do it, but we just have to stay positive it will happen!
