Labor story

So i finally decided i eould write up my labor/birth story to share with you all.

Monday December 3rd i went into my hospital to be induced at 7pm. By 8pm that night they had given my cervidal (not sure on spelling lol. 3 hours later i had started getting contravtions every 3-4 minutes. By 2am I was already in alot of pain. They had given my a morphine shot to try to relax and sleep. I wad able to relax a few hours but not sleep unfortunately. By 6am i was in extreme pain. I had tried laboring through contractions in the tub for a while, finally my doctor had showed up and checked my cervix. I had already dialated to a 6.

By 9am they had given me an epidural and broke my water. After this is when everything got to be shit. I ended up getting a fever of 103 and informed i had gotten an infection from them breaking my water.

I was slowly dialating for hours on end. By 5:30 pm tuesday i was dialated to a 9. From 5:30-11:00 pm i was at a 9. Finally my doctor decided that a csection would be an option. Between that time i had to up my epidural twice because of contractions and my extreme fevers. I was sweating for hours like a pig . By that time i was in so much pain i was crying for it to be over. I begged them to have the surgeon hurry to start. By 11:30 they started giving me the numbing medication and wheeling me down to OR.

12:21 wednesday december 5th I had my baby girl, 8lbs 12oz 💟💟
