Does he like me like that?

So I’ve been hanging out with/seeing this guy for almost a month now. I asked him about a week into it what he was looking for and he said “nothing serious, but I do like hanging out with you.” We have sex and stuff and he is pretty affectionate with me. He just invited me as his date for his fraternity’s overnight ski trip. This was the first time we’ve really hung out with a group and he’s invited me to go somewhere besides his house or to eat somewhere with just him. I feel like we have definitely developed a good basis of friendship at this point. He does things for me like gives me rides since I don’t have a car. He also picked me up from a party when I was drunk and cared for me and didn’t try to take advantage of me at all. He is so sweet and we have good times and good laughs together. We haven’t gone a day without talking and he usually initiates it. Although, he doesn’t compliment or flirt with me very much. But when we are alone together we are very affectionate with one another and he always gives me big hugs and a kiss goodbye when we part ways. At this point, I want to tell him I like him, (although I feel like it is probably obvious) and see if he feels the same way, but I don’t want to scare him off or potentially ruin how good things are going right now. Does it seem like he likes me as more than a friend with benefits? Should I try to initiate a conversation regarding this or is it too soon? I really do want things to work out with him but I do not want to scare him off by talking about a relationship.
