Thinking about kids, kinda scared about it

To start off, I am 20 and a junior in college, my boyfriend is almost 24 and graduating from his masters this year.

My entire life I’ve been on the edge about having kids. I absolutely love children, but I’m terrified of what it can do to my body, as my mom had extremely hard pregnancies with my brother and I.

My boyfriend desperately wants kids, two girls, and loves thinking about me pregnant and being a mom. He infact has told me he wants to start trying now, as he believes he can support us. I’ve told him no and to wait until we marry, which is a few more years.

Can anyone tell me about their stories? What was pregnancy like for you? If my mom had a had time, will I?
