Christmas and presents

Lol what do you guys do if your partner gets you a gift you don’t like? I’m not materialistic per say. My family celebrated Christmas early so he got me a necklace. I told him the two I i wanted, price (in our budget), and where to get it.... well he put it off put it off put it off and the day we celebrated realized he didn’t have anything for me and went and got a cheap necklace that was not at allll what I wanted. I wanted a small yellow gold necklace that either had a heart charm on something that said I love you on a chain 10-12 inches long. Dude shows up with a silver necklace on an 18 in chain that had two different charms. I realize I probably sound like an ass hole, and it’s the thought that counts... but isn’t the entire point there was no thought! He did the same shit every time it’s time to buy me a present. This time it annoyed me because it was like dude- we have a few fancy dinner to go to and I wanted that specifically to compliment my dresses. I got him a super nice gift to compliment his suit and he loved loved loved it. I did not say a single rude thing about it and pretended to love it. But seriously I was kind of sad.

Oh and I also bought his a sweet ass nerf gun. A snipping on haha because we got our daughters one each for play and I could tell he was jealous hahaha I mean will it kill him to be more thoughtful
