Doctor was nuts!

So my daughter is 3 weeks old. I had headaches everyday after I had her and called my obgyn. They told me to go to urgent care. I bring my daughter with me because I have no choice (unvax also😡) took the risk of my daughter getting sick to figure out what was going on.

Diagnosed with a post epidural headache, prescribed a narcotic and was told I couldn't breast feed while taking this. (Highly upset). I use to pump close to 5 oz. She had problems latching so she got bottles of breast milk.

Well 3 days into this pumping and dumping my supply drops to only 2 oz..called my doc and they took me off it but said I gotta wait a week before i can even pump my milk for my daughter again.... I dont even make it a week and my supply dried up... I called my obgyn and they said I should of never been put on a narcotic let alone this specific one.

So after trying everything under the sun to get my supply back... my baby is now formula fed :( and is so constipated... I feel like a failure because I was so adamant on breast feeding her and I wanted that bond with her. When she couldn't latch it broke my heart then when I dried up I lost it. 😭😭 I know fed is best it just sucks because I wanted to be able to do this for her and apparently the doctor was a idiot and should of known better to put a mom on something that has been known to drop supply!
