Is 22 too young?!

My partner of 4 years and I have been talking about having a baby, we’re both 22, stable jobs/income, have lived together for 3 years and want nothing more than to be parents. But I’m worried, is 22 too young? People keep telling us to see more of the world and enjoy having no responsibilities while we can but I just want to be a mum! 
Also worried that if we do start trying for baby now, it might take a long time to fall pregnant anyway..

I found out I was pregnant in May. I was 22. I turned 23 in September and baby boy is due in 3 weeks. Do I feel ready? Not at all. BUT I don’t think you will ever be 100% ready no matter your age. My husband is more ready and less nervous than I am, and he’s only 24 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
We had also been together almost 4 years, and were engaged but not married when we found out. We were living together and have good sources of income. Honestly we were as ready as we could possibly be, and age had nothing to do with it. I think if you feel mature enough to be parents and you have a steady home/income then 22 is definitely not too young. There will always be people who disagree.

In my opinion it is much too young. I'm 23 and couldn't imagine having a baby right now even though my fiance and I are financially stable.
My biggest thing in your situation would be wanting to get engaged/married first. I know not everyone feels that way and everyone takes their life journey differently, but marriage is very important to me BEFORE baby. Even if you know you're going to be with someone forever, I would want that true, legal commitment first.

I had a baby at 22 and was married with stable everything as well. I would tell you to wait and enjoy more. Everyone told us at our wedding to wait before having kids and I mean over 20 people told us. I should have listened lol of course I love my son who is 2 years old now but it is hard. It is your decision but you will see what im talking about if u have one now 😩

If you want to and you really know it in your heart then go for it! If you for any reason have any doubts at all, wait. Enjoy your life. Go on vacation. Figure out who you are. How you can be more established. I had my son at 22 and I’m financially stable and stable in my relationship. It ruined my relationship and it drains all the money. Which means no more dates. No more just you and the babe enjoying each others company. Every moment from the time you push that kid out is going to revolve around him/her. And even though you think you might have a good partner from what ive heard more common is the guys are lazy. Its not that 22 is necessarily too young its that 22 should be too much fun honestly.

I’m engaged. My fiancé is 21 and I’m 22.  We’ll be married late next year. We’ll also be trying for a baby late next year. We’ll be 23 by the time baby is born if all goes to plan. I don’t think it’s too young. Other people might, but I don’t want to wait until I’m 30 to have my first kid. We’ll be stable, have our own place, our own money. We won’t need anything from anybody. I’d love to travel a little, but we’re going on a 3 week trip to Germany for our honeymoon, and that’ll be our one big trip before kids that we’ll really get to experience. After that we’ll just bring kids with us 🤷‍♀️ there’s always a reason not to have kids. If you kept adding them, nobody would ever have one. You’re just never completely ready. So find a time that you’re stable enough, and choose that time for you.

I had my daughter at 23. I love her to death and don’t regret a thing but I wish someone told me to wait!! There is so much for you in your twenties. That why it’s called the defining decade. I would wait!!

I’m 24 and I couldn’t think of anything worse. The way I see it is there’s so much I want to do before having kids, and I know I’d be disappointed if I had kids before following my dream. It might sound silly but that’s just me. Each to their own though. If it’s something you want right now then I think you’re probably ready for it.

I don't think it's too young. We've been trying since I was 21 nearly 22. We have our own house good jobs and stable in general. So no I think it depends on how you're both feeling in the relationship. Don't worry what others will think. That was my problem but now I don't care, if you feel ready and can financially support yourself and a baby then go for it
