Natural Cycles + Plan B incident

Has anyone taken Plan B right before or during ovulation? I'm curious the outcome for those who have. I took Plan B yesterday but to rewind, I took a Plan B four years ago within the 72 hour window and it failed. Monday I took a Plan B 34 hours after unprotected sex. I naturally track my cycle using Natural Cycles app and measuring my basal temp each morning therefore I know I took the pill during my LH surge, which triggers ovulation. I researched online and read that Plan B is essentially pointless if you are about to ovulate, or are ovulating. Contrary to popular belief, I read studies that it does not prevent fertilization or implantation. Curious if anyone else has been in this situation. I'm aware of the risk and am ok with it, but wondering if there are similar stories and what the outcomes were.
