Does everyone bleed after membrane sweep?

Question

I had a membrane sweep at exactly 40 weeks yesterday. She said cervix was posterior and was uneffaced. She managed to get up and reach the membranes and said she felt the baby’s head. I had bright red blood after for a couple of hours and then today had brown blood which I think could be mucous? 
Do you think it could be the show or just bleeding from the sweep? 
Feeling disheartened that it was high but pleased she managed to get up there. Have another booked for Thursday.

I had blood after, into the next day. I also had mucus but didn’t end up in labour. Doctor had prewarned me that bleeding was normal. I had it done at 40 + 4 days.

I’ve had 3 sweeps now 😕. I bled and lost bloody mucus all three times but it hasn’t led to labour yet.

I had mine yesterday and had blood too and still do a little bit. My OB said it is very normal to bleed for about 24 hrs.

If it was just blood & no mucus it’s just from the irritation of the cervix
