Family visiting after birth
We have family this is packed & ready to come to the hospital the second I go into labor 🤦🏻♀️ they won’t stop calling and texting me everyday. I ’m having a csection on Sunday if she doesn’t come before than so I was thinking of sending this message out to everyone... what do you think?
With my son everyone came to the hospital immediately and stayed the whole time I was in labor (hrrrrsss) and it was overwhelming. I don’t want that this time, I would like us to have time to bond with the baby before visitors start coming but it’s so hard to tell family no especially when it’s close family members. We just have so many of them...
“Hi! Looks like baby wants to stay put so we will be having a C-section Sunday morning!! We predict to be out of surgery & in recovery by 10 am or so, But We will let you all know when we are settled in our room & ready for visitors! Please keep in mind it is cold & flu season so we ask that if you are planning to visit that you do not kiss or touch baby’s face/hands & wait to visit at a later time if you have any symptoms of being sick or have recently been around someone who is sick, to help us keep her healthy. 😊❤️”
