Surname for baby

I’m due in January and I have decided my baby will be called Luca, and Alexander will be his middle name.

Myself and the child’s father do not share a last name, mine is Gordon and his is Inger. We decided Luca will have his last name, but a few people mentioned there may be a bit of trouble legally in some circumstances if Luca doesn’t share my last name, and without the right documents I could get into trouble if I ever take Luca out of the country.

Personally, Luca Alexander Gordon-Inger just doesn’t look right to me... I know there are more things to be worried about but I’d love some opinions from strangers!

Please don’t suggest we get married... we aren’t even together hahah!
