Is it weird to have omphalophobia? (fear of bellybuttons)

Getting better I guess but if I see someone touching their bellybutton I have to curl up and look away I get so uncomfortable. Cannot imagine having a bellybutton piercing I would be crying constantly😂

My bf is fascinated with playing with mine 😐 belly buttons have always been weird to me and I was told not to play with it bc it can make you sick 🤷🏽‍♀️

It feels weird to call it a “fear” because it’s not like I’m scared of them, it’s that I absolutely cannot have mine touched or touch anyone else’s or I will feel extremely uncomfortable. In the peak of it, I would actually feel a physical pain and it reached a point where I put bandaids over it so nothing would be able to touch it. However, when I got pregnant, my bellybutton flattened out and that was amazing. And once I got a belly button back, it wasn’t nearly as bad as before. I can touch it now if I need to.
