Spotting after transvaginal ultrasound

I am now 7 weeks and 6 days, I had my first transvaginal ultrasound earlier this morning and a few hours later noticed a few light spots in my underwear. I havnt had any other spotting during my pregnancy and have a call in to my doctor but wanted to know if this happened to anyone else and if it was normal. The ultrasound showed a healthy baby and strong heart beat, but the spotting is a little scary, any information or others experiences would be very helpful!
